Down the bumpy road to writing:

                 Scratchy, Itchy Eyes?

If you have been sitting in front of your computer for any length of time, you may find that your eyes are scratchy, irritated or tired. You may have Computer Eye Fatigue. According to a recent study, you are probably not blinking your eyelids often enough while staring at the screen.

To help relieve these symptoms, make a conscious effort to blink more often while looking at your computer screen. Periodically take an eye break from the computer screen. Just a few minutes should do it. Focus on something at a distance --out your window, in the next room, down the hall, or just get up and walk around or go outside. Refocusing in this manner many times will relieve eye strain and may help prevent those tired, dry, itchy eyes.
